Summer is coming to an end……

We are a bit behind, so bear with us as we update all the goings on here at the library of late, along with what’s coming up…..

Our Play K program has ended…. What a great time these classes were, these kids are so ready to take on this next giant step in their lives. Good luck to one and all.

Professor John is still away, so there will be NO computer class or Gadget Club on Wednesday 8/17 or Wednesday 8/24. He will return on Wednesday 8/31.

The Bradford County Commissioners will be holding their bi-weekly meeting here at the library, this Thursday, Aug. 25. The meeting begins at 10 a.m. and all are welcome to attend.

It’s hard to believe that school starts back up next Tuesday!!! Where did the summer go?

Anyone who has not completed, or started, their required summer reading, we have the books available here to read. Each book or audio book may be checked out for 2 weeks and may NOT be renewed. We do have multiple titles of some of the books, reserves may be placed on the titles.

Now that the summer is coming to an end, so is our Summer Reading program, so all reading logs need to be turned in to the library before Tuesday, August 30th.

Labor Day is Monday, September 5th, and also marks the end of our  Community Summer Reading Challenge.  As the library is closed Saturday, 9/3 and Monday 9/5, please turn in your Challenge sheets by the end of Friday, 9/2 to be counted. When your sheet is turned in, you can enter your name in a drawing for a free book sponsorship – your name on the dedication plate of a new library book and you get to be the first to check it out of the library.
